lyrics
Knock the dust off this rusty mic, it must be nice
To shine under these neon lights
Supremely bright, glimmer in the heat of the night
The feat of the fight, freedom to my people, alright?
Beneath the eaves, the cycle of the burning of trees
The scenery, grows with the finest greens
As you can see, loud puts me at ease
As we proceed, to give you what you need
We rushing through, busting and the breaking the algorithm
It was handwritten and scripted in hieroglyphics
Get a glimpse you can be one with the vision
Elevate your mind, that’s higher living
All’s forgiven when peace is found with in
Mixed with a little dose of the daily sin
You roll with a team that can hardly win
I’m dope and see why I’m the Artisan
I snipe these mics, I can kill the game on sight
I strive to write and shine on like starlight
Hard-hitting with all these lyrics I be delivering
Doing what it takes to bring this vision to fruition
Need to re-evaluate the way that you living
Gotta roll with the punches and the pain that's been stricken
Lord willing, I’ll stay with the clock ticking
And maybe get a chance to live out my premonitions
Believe me, the living is easy
Summer time vibes, nappy hair peasy
Waiting on my ride, now we rolling down the boulevard
Stomach full of pride got me acting like a superstar
Teeth clenching, a rush of adrenaline
Got the heart racing and revving like it’s a jet engine
Unafraid, I’m made for what I’m stepping in
If you don’t understand it, goddammit, you need to guess again

If I had to compare this album to any in Apollo Brown's list of albums, it would be "Dice Game" , the production here is super soulful, bleak and emotional at times, Philmore Greene is so genuine lyrically on here, here he is honest, detailed, Pessimistic at times, when it comes to speaking on his surroundings and upbringing, their is a strength you carry through experience, this album is much needed, an artist translating his true soul into the Art. markmcauley1 (Strictly Hip-Hop Spot)
